Summary

Abstract

This dataset layer displays the location of grab samples collected at each station of the 2015 Henry Bigelow cruise. For each grab, information was collected on infaunal species, and associated habitat characteristics (mean phi, fraction gravel, sand, mud). The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration assumes no responsibility for the use of these data. This dataset was collected between 8/13/2015 - 8/20/2015. This dataset is being used to derive community and habitat metrics for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC Benthic Assessment Report to BOEM, for the offshore Wind Energy Areas (WEAs). This dataset was created by NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Sandy Hook Laboratory/Coastal Ecology Branch, 2015-2017.
