Abstract

This dataset layer displays CTD casts across the Mid-Atlantic from the Woods Hole OCDBS database. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration assumes no responsibility for the use of these data. This dataset contains hydrological data including surface and bottom temperature (Celcius), and suface and bottom salinity (psu), from 1/25/2003 - 11/19/2014. This dataset is being used to derive water column metrics for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC Benthic Assessment Report to BOEM, for the offshore Wind Energy Areas (WEAs). This dataset was created by NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Sandy Hook Laboratory/Coastal Ecology Branch, 2015-2017.
