Abstract:	The purpose of this dataset is to display the New Jersey Wind Energy Area to be used in a benthic assessment report. This dataset was derived from source data: BOEM WindPlanningAreas (shapefile) downloaded at http://www.boem.gov/uploadedFiles/BOEM/Renewable_Energy_Program/Mapping_and_Data/Wind_Planning_Areas.zip. The RIMA wind energy area was clipped out from the source data and projected to UTM18N. This dataset was created by NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Sandy Hook Laboratory/Coastal Ecology Branch, 2017.
