Abstract

This dataset layer displays information on demersal fish, attached and/or slow moving invertebrates observed during the University of Massachusetts SMAST camera pyramid survey. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration assumes no responsibility for the use of these data. This SMASTdataset was collected between </SPAN><SPAN>4/27/2010 - 10/13/2013</SPAN><SPAN>. Species data was collected using a camera pyramic, and is recorded as abundance of commercial species and presence/absence of non-commercial species. This dataset is being used to derive cummunity metrics for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC Benthic Assessment Report to BOEM, for the offshore Wind Energy Areas (WEAs). This dataset was created by NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Sandy Hook Laboratory/Coastal Ecology Branch, 2015-2017.
