Summary

Abstract

This dataset layer displays information on water column properties, e.g. surface/bottom salinity (PSU), surface/bottom temperature (degrees C) collected during the bi-annual Woods Hole Bottom Trawl Survey. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration assumes no responsibility for the use of these data. This dataset was collected in springs and falls between 2/6/2003 - 5/6/2015. Water column data were collected using CTD. This dataset is being used to derive water column metrics for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC Benthic Assessment Report to BOEM, for the offshore Wind Energy Areas (WEAs). This dataset was created by NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Sandy Hook Laboratory/Coastal Ecology Branch, 2015-2017.
