Abstract:

Quality Control Procedures Employed:

Orthoimagery flight lines have been examined to ensure that there was at least 60% along track overlap and 40% sidelap between frames. TIFFs were blended together to remove seams and corrected for any remaining radiometric differences between images.

Description:

A flight crew acquired multispectral aerial photography with an Intergraph Z/I Imaging DMC (Digital Mapping Camera) from an Quantum Spatial, Inc twin engine, fixed-wing aircraft.

Airborne control and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) data was collected simultaneously with the photos. The DMC produces 4 band imagery with a radiometric resolution of 12 bit (4096 discrete possible values).

Image size is 7,680 x 13,824 pixels Spectral sensitivity is as follows: blue: 400-580 nm green: 500-650 nm red: 590-675 nm near infrared: 675-850 nm pan: approximately 360-1040 nm The forward motion compensator eliminates image blur.
