The Ecosystem Dynamics and Assessment Branch maintains a suite of remotely sensed ocean color and sea surface temperature datasets. The satellite sensors provide routine, synoptic observations of the ocean surface at spatial and temporal resolutions not attainable by moored or ship-based platforms.

Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to provide regional (U.S. East Coast) satellite data products.
