Access database

A total of 187 fishers completed the survey. There are no reliable estimates of fishing participation in Guam and CNMI but knowledgeable community members attest to the representativeness of the sample.

No efforts are made to expand to the population as there are no population estimates available.

After the data were recorded through primary in-person data collection methods (survey booklet), data were entered into the data entry file (MS Excel worksheet). The entered data were subject to logic tests and appropriate skip patterns. The data were assessed for outliers and cleaned. Finally, the cleaned data were used to generate data reports and summaries.

These data are Legacy and Sensitive (business information). Efforts to disseminate can be arranged upon request, but the data are currently out of scope for the Data directive.

Data is securely stored in PIFSC's server with password protection.

Only staff who work on the project can access to the data.
