>Product: This data set is single point georeferenced, radiometrically corrected digital imagery. The 4 band imagery was collected at 16 bits per band (stored as a standard 8 bit per band geotiff) with the following band order: red, green, blue, infrared. Geographic Extent: Shoreline in Texas and Louisiana along the Gulf of America, totaling 236 sq miles. Dataset Description: The LA2207 project called for the planning, acquisition, processing, and derivative products of imagery data to be collected at a ground sample distance (GSD) of 25 cm. The data were developed based on a horizontal projection/datum of NAD 1983 2011 UTM Zone 15N, Meter. Imagery data were formatted to 4 stereo strips. Ground Conditions: Imagery was collected in fall/winter 2022, while rivers were at or below normal levels. This is flown at the Mean High Water Mark

Process Steps
Process Step 1
Description: |
The full resolution aerial imagery was color balanced and mosaicked inside of Inpho's Orthovista platform. The imagery was radiometrically balanced one flight line to another using the rectified ADS 16-bit 4 band (RGB-IR) imagery. No individual manipulation took place with the near-infrared band to maintain as much band integrity as possible. Once the imagery was processed through Inpho's workflow, Fugro imported the Orthovista output into their proprietary image database software and completed any additional image feature cleanup. Fugro created a Tone Contrast Curve (TCC) to complete the 16-bit to 8-bit image conversion. The final image format delivered was Stripped TIFs that were geo-referenced and accompanied by TIF World Files. Additional delivery for Cloud Optimized Geotiffs also included for this project. Original image tiles are 3 km by 3 km squares. |
