French Frigate Shoals (FFS) Ecopath with Ecosim Model

The FFS Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) model was published in Marine Mammal Science and the data sets used in the simulation portion of the paper are listed in as part of this package including the index for the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) and commercial fishery removals. The sources of this information is included in the paper or as part of its online supplemental information and on the enclosed disks. Also included on the disks are files of the EwE analysis should the topic want to be revisited particularly since the part of the analysis is a projection of monk seal biomass out to the year 2040. The projection assumes the PDO remains at a level constant with the 2010 level.

Analysis conducted to estimate a carrying capacity for monk seals at French Frigate Shoals in the NWHI.
