MDMR samples eight stations on a monthly basis. Four stations have fixed locations, (two stations are in the Pearl River System and two stations in the Pascagoula River). The remaining four random stations are sampled at different estuarine areas within a Grid System. All eight stations are assigned a 3 digit code. |
| Purpose: |
This biological sampling effort is used to approximate fish populations in various locations throughout Mississippi coastal waters. |
