Surveys to collect information to assess the economic value from an angler’s perspective of saltwater recreational fishing for selected species in the southeast USA. Usually involving "stated preference choice experiments" to allow for the calculation of willingness to pay related to bag limits or harvest of these species. |
Purpose: |
Provide economics research to support management. Values for willingness to pay are needed to evaluate the economic effect of proposed management alternatives on anglers. |
