Abstract:

Biological data, including the species, sex, size and reproductive state, of individual marine mammals and sea turtles are collected from stranded (i.e., out-of-habitat) and fishery by-caught animals.

Purpose:

To quantifying the demographic characteristics of populations impacted by fisheries and other anthropogenic effects as well as to improve knowledge of their natural history.
