Description

The purpose of this pilot study is to test procedures on how to efficiently collect accurate biological and disposition data on discarded fish, "discards", from head boat anglers. Once a Gulf-wide survey is in use the data from this survey will be used to generate improved estimates of catch within the head boat fishery.
