Title: Inshore Creel Survey
Short Name: Fishery Dependent Sampling
Status: In Work
Abstract:

Recreational angler survey of Alabama's inshore waters.

Purpose:

The survey uses non-uniform probability roving creel sampling methods based on aerial over-flight counts to sample the marine recreational fishery in coastal Alabama. Goals of the survey include characterization of Alabama's coastal recreational boat fishers and their catch. Biological information from fishermen's catch is helpful for determining health of fish stocks.
