Character 		Indicates the data type (generally character or numeric ) of the corresponding data column

Numeric 		The length of the corresponding field in question
Number of Decimal Places
Numeric 		Indicates the number of data places (for a numeric column) of the corresponding column in question. This will be blank if the corresponding column in question
