Description

SEDAR 62 will be an Assessment following a Standard approach and addresses the stock of Gulf of Mexico Gray Triggerfish. A workshop to address new data and assessment issues was held May 20-22, 2019 in Miami, Florida.

Late in the assessment process, an internal review of the assessment identified inaccuracies in essential data inputs that could not be easily reconciled. The SEFSC determined the best plan of action was to halt work on the S62 assessment. A new assessment of Gulf of Mexico Gray Triggerfish will be scheduled as soon as practicable.
