Abstract

EwE results in 2019 and 2040 of simulation of seven management scenarios (Constant Effort (i.e. no action); Line Only fishing; No Spear fishing; No Net fishing; No Herbivore fishing; No MPA1; No MPA2). Units are tons/km2.

Description

Output data for the Main Hawaiian Islands Ecopath with Ecopath (EwE) modeling project. These data are the results of the EwE model output and were used to create the figures in the MS. There are three csv files: (1) Output by fleet.csv gives the model output per fleet (e.g. start and end of catches); (2) Output by functional group.csv gives the output per functional group (e.g. start and end of catches and biomass); and (3) Output by monthly time step.csv where three indices are reported per monthly time step over the entire duration of the model simulation. For all tables, the rows represent the alternative scenarios per fleet or functional group. The columns are the start, end, and change in catch, value and cost for the output by fleet table; the start, end and change in biomass, catch and value for the output by functional group table; and shows the time (in number of months since start), the trophic level of the catch, the total catch and a diversity value ("KemtonsQ") for the output by time step table.
