Summary
This entity represents the avian specimen which has been chosen for additional biota sampling, preservation, tag recording, or may be representative of a larger group of birds of the same species. A specimen need not be a fatality. It may be an animal that was captured for tag examination and released alive and unharmed. The key is it is a single animal.
