The cruises table is at the intersection of the ATL and Domestic data sets. As the redevelopment of the NORPAC system extends into observer logistics this object may change in name and structure.

A unique five-digit number assigned to the observer for the length of their contract period. This number alone identifies and groups a set of observer information. Sequence generated by Norpac and supplied to the observer as an unique identifier for an observer cruise record.

During debriefing a record is entered in this table if an observer has seabird notes in their logbook. If an observer has seabird notes in their logbook the debriefer makes a photocopy of these notes and gives the photocopy to one particular staff membe
