| Purpose: |
The purpose of the SHELFZ survey was to characterize the northeastern Chukchi sea oceanographic habitat, distribution and abundance of fish, invertebrates and zooplankton from nearshore (<20 m) to offshore (>20 m). The Alaska Fisheries Science Center s contribution to the survey was to estimate the distribution and abundance of offshore fish and invertebrates in the northeastern Chukchi sea using a standardized survey bottom trawl. |
