Summary

Abstract

Data from an appendaged hook study conducted in 2006-2007 on captive loggerhead turtles which investigated the effects of bait type, baiting technique, turtle size and hook size (14/0, 15/0, and 16/0- appendaged hooks) on the potential ability to swallow a baited hook. This is the second phase of trials that was conducted in 2006-2007 to test a similar range of hooks with wire appendages
