Description

Penaeid shrimp were measured to nearest millimeter total length (TL) from tip of rostrum to tip of telson. Carapace width (CW) was measured for crabs across the widest part of the carapace (from tip to tip of the lateral spines, if present). Total length was measured for fish from snout tip to tip of longest caudal fin ray after being placed flat on its side with the mouth closed. Non-penaeid shrimp and other invertebrates were placed in 5-mm CW or TL size intervals; fish were recorded in 10-mm TL intervals. Hermit crabs were not measured.
