Project all polygons into World Mercator Append features with attribution into final schema. Project all source datasets into WGS 84 World Mercator. Extract projected features located within state or federal waters as delineated by FederalAndStateWaters. Dissolve extracted ALOGB_BLOCKS into a single polygon. Merge extracted features into a single feature class. Check and update attribution for features as necessary. Remove features sourced from TX_STATE_LEASES with "Expired", "Terminated", or "Shut-in" statuses. Convert the AK_STATE_LEASES associated Lease Status by Lease Number PDF document into a CSV table, and then join status and effective dates attributes to AK_STATE_LEASES-sourced features. Update the effective date values for features sourced from LA_STATE_LEASES from Strategic Online Natural Resources Information System (SONRIS) database. Assign attribution to the ALOGB_BLOCKS polygon indicating that detailed information is not currently available. Standardize remaining lease status values. Deleted Alabama feature the coverage was all of Alabama state waters and the status is unknown, this information will be mentioned in the abstract text rather than displayed in the data. Updated metadata description. Repair Geometry. |
