Summary

Abstract

This data table records observations of behavioral response of subject snails, coralliophila abbreviata, in choice assays

Assays were conducted in field enclosures presenting each snail with two choices (treatments)

Choice was expressed as movement of the snail from the starting position up one of the choice lanes toward the treatment target (i.e. prey coral fragment or another snail)

Sometimes snails failed to respond (scored as 'no choice')

Results are analyzed and published in Bright AJ, Cameron C, Miller MW (2015) Enhanced susceptibility to predation in corals of compromised condition. PeerJ 3:e1239. https://dx.doi.org/10.7717/peerj.1239
