Texas conducts a telephone survey of Gulf based charter boat captains utilizing components from the MRFSS For-Hire sampling program. It consists of training of interviewers, Sample selection, telephone interviews, and maintenance of the sample frame ((list of active Gulf charter(for-hire)) boats. Data collected is used to estimate effort to aid in estimatione of landings. |
