Abstract

Table contains taxon count, minimum and maximum length, and weight information for 'Other Invertebrates' (non-penaeid shrimp, crabs, etc.), if available. If count = 0, a code of '-999' indicates nothing to measure or weigh for given record or sample. If count = 1 or ≥2, a code of '-999' in the measurement column represents either the number of damaged specimens that could not be measured for a given taxon, or the taxon was not measured. An empty weight column indicates parameter was not measured.

Supplemental Information:

November 1997 is the only period in Pelican Spit 1988-1997 with weight data for nekton. All available 'Other Inverts' count and length data are on “tblSizeRange”; November 1997 weight/mass data are on this "tblInvertMass". All total counts by taxon*station must be divided by 2.6 to calculate number per meter squared values because larger 1.8-m drop trap used sampled an area of 2.6 m2.
