Table contains fish count and individual length information, if available. If count = 0, a code of '-999' in measurement column indicates nothing to measure for given record or sample. If count ≥1, a code of '-999' in the measurement column indicates specimens were damaged and could not be measured. If fish taxon was subsampled, a code of '-999' in the measurement column generally indicates the number of specimens above subsample size that were not measured. Empty length column indicates given length measurement was not taken.

Gear type: throw trap; except samples 51-60, which were collected by seine.

For Fish only: total length (TL) was measured in millimeters (mm) for Year 1997; standard length (SL) was measured in mm for Year 2001. For both 1997 and 2001, length frequency distribution tables include up to 22 individuals measured per taxon at a given station. Under this measurement protocol, the largest and smallest specimens were located, removed, measured, and recorded first, then a subsample of up to 20 specimens were measured at random from the remainder of the sample (for both sample years). Largest and smallest specimens are recorded on this fish length table.

Specimens of a given taxon were pooled by sample and weighed to nearest 0.1 gram (wet weight/biomass).

Table contains total count, size range, and weight by taxon and sample. If count = 0, a code of '-999' indicates nothing to measure or weigh for given record or sample. If count = 1 or ≥2 and measurement column has '-999' code, maximum and minimum length information may be available in Fish Length Table, but was not transferred to Fish Mass Table; or, may represent damaged specimens not measured for given taxon.
