Summary
This contains fish count and specimen total length information.
If count = 0, a code of '-999' in measurement column indicates nothing to measure for given record or sample. If count ?1, a code of '-999' in the measurement column indicates specimens were damaged and could not be measured. Taxon was subsampled for measurement purposes if sample contained >22 specimens, as explained below. If subsampled, a code of '-999' in measurement column represents the number of specimens above subsample size of 20 total (plus minimum and maximum length) that remain unmeasured. Empty length column indicates given length measurement was not taken.
Length frequency distributions include up to 22 specimens measured (20 specimens plus minimum and maximum lengths) per taxon at a given station.
Under this protocol, the largest and smallest specimens were located, removed, and measured first with the largest and smallest specimens recorded on this Table. If <22 total specimens, all specimens were measured. If >22 specimens, largest and smallest specimens were located, removed, and measured first, and a subsample of 20 additional were selected and measured at random; the number of specimens >22 were recorded as unmeasured with code: '-999' in the total measurement column.
It was created by the export of data from an SQL Server database.
DescriptionTable contains fish count and individual length information. If count = 0, a code of '-999' in measurement column indicates nothing to measure for given record or sample. If count ≥1, a code of '-999' in measurement column indicates damaged specimens unable to measure. If fish taxon was subsampled, code '-999' in measurement column refers to number of specimens above subsample size that were not measured. Empty length column indicates parameter was not measured.
