CRCP-Gamete/larval fitness of reef-building corals

This data set incorporates observations and experimental results from a suite of studies of spawning corals in the upper Florida Keys, broadly aimed at elucidating environmental and genetic factors that enhance or impair recruitment success. Targeted species include Acropora palmata and Orbicella faveolata. Observations of when corals spawned (lunar nights at different sites) and experiments examining fertilization, pelagic larval, settlement, and post-settlement phases are included.

To document spawning performance by broadcast spawning corals in the upper Florida Keys and conduct experiments to elucidate factors which improve or impair fertilization, larval, settlement , and post-settlement success

This dataset is a collection of experimental studies relating to fertilization, larval competence/settlement, and post- settlement survival of spawning corals, primarily A.palmata and Orbicella faveolata
