John Syslo, PhD
John Syslo is a Research Fishery Biologist in the Stock Assessment Program at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. John joined the National Marine Fisheries Service in 2017 after a postdoctoral research associateship at Michigan State University’s Quantitative Fisheries Center. John’s primary responsibility is conducting stock assessments for domestic bottom fish. John also supports U.S. participation in the South Pacific Regional Fishery Management Organization.
