Jessica Perelman, PhD
Jessie is an ecologist with the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center focused on fish ecology and marine resource management. She studies the influences of oceanographic features, changing conditions, and human activities on habitat use by fish and pelagic species. Her research employs spatial modeling, remote sensing data, active acoustics, and fish identification. She received her PhD in Oceanography from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and her BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California.
