IB 02-46: Expiration Date Extended On Groundfish Logbooks and Forms

The expiration date found on all 2002 groundfish forms and 2001/2002 logbooks has been extended to July 31, 2005, according to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved the Alaska Region?s request for renewal of the information collection OMB No. 0648-0213, which includes groundfish logbooks and forms. The new expiration date for the collection is July 31, 2005. This date supersedes the expiration dates of September 30, 2001, and May 31, 2002. Managers and operators should continue to use forms and logbooks issued under these superseded dates.
