The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces the renewal of Prohibited Species Donation permits to SeaShare under 50 CFR 679.26, according to Robert D. Mecum, Acting Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. These permits authorize the distribution of Pacific salmon and Pacific halibut incidentally caught in the Alaska groundfish trawl fisheries to economically disadvantaged individuals under the prohibited species donation (PSD) program. These PSD permits are effective through August 15, 2011.
