The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is opening directed fishing for pollock in Statistical Area 610 of the Gulf of Alaska, effective 1200 hours, Alaska local time (A.l.t.), October 27, 2020, through 1200 hours, A.l.t., October 29, 2020 according to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS.
This action is necessary to fully use the D season allowance of the 2020 total allowable catch of pollock specified for Statistical Area 610. Other closures remain in full force and effect.
