The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) reminds the fleet of the regulatory closure of commercial fishing for salmon in the Cook Inlet Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Area off Alaska, effective 1900 hours, Alaska local time, August 15, 2024 under Federal regulations at 50 CFR 679.118(e)(1). There will not be additional openings this calendar year.
