Chloe Moore

Chloe, who goes by Pixie, researches solutions to fisheries and bycatch monitoring at NOAA Fisheries in the Pacific Islands. She performs research to evaluate the feasibility of Electronic Monitoring (EM) in the Hawaiʻi longline fisheries with a focus on collecting data to assess protected species interactions and automate video review using machine learning.

Pixie received her B.S. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and has previous research experience on the effects of ocean warming on nearshore fisheries and coral reefs.
