Meaghan Emory
Meaghan Emory is the Communications Manager for the Southeast Fisheries Science Center. She brings over a decade of experience in marine science communications with her to the SEFSC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Marine Science/Marine Resource Assessment from the University of South Florida where she conducted her thesis on hogfish in the Gulf of Mexico. Most recently, Meaghan spent four years leading communications for the U.S. Geological Survey St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center, where she achieved several awards for her efforts and communications products. She is also an avid angler and spearfisher.
