Megan Ewald
Megan Ewald joined the Office of Aquaculture in 2023. She leads a team working to communicate aquaculture science and policy to the public, industry, academia, and decision-makers.
Prior to this position, Megan supported NOAA’s Office of Response and Restoration working in oil spill and hazardous waste pollution communications. She has a background in community-based natural resource management, photography and video production, and laboratory experience in the environmental sciences.
Megan received her Master's of Arts in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, her Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi.
