Becky Raves Golden is a Marine Habitat Resource Specialist with the Habitat and Ecosystem Services Division based in Annapolis, Maryland. She is responsible for Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) consultations for offshore wind energy projects. Becky also serves as the Vice Chair for the Chesapeake Bay Program's Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) Workgroup. Prior to joining NOAA, Becky worked for nearly 20 years with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources specializing in SAV restoration and protection, coastal and aquatic habitat assessments, and environmental review technical support. Becky holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Science and Biology, both from East Stroudsburg University, and a Master of Science in Biological Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology.
