Sarah Bland
Sarah began her career with NOAA Fisheries in 2009 and has worked on a variety of issues, including Mid-Atlantic and recreational fisheries issues, cooperative research, and groundfish. Before joining NOAA Fisheries, Sarah worked as an At-Sea Monitor for a commercial fishing organization, a Fisheries Assistant for a state marine fisheries agency, and a Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Arts in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to becoming the Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Sarah Bland was the Groundfish Branch Chief.
