Sunny Snider Centrella, Ph.D.
Sunny Snider Centrella serves as the Deputy Director for the Office of Habitat Conservation. Previously, Sunny was the Deputy Director for the Office of International Affairs, Trade, and Commerce and Chief of Staff at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center headquartered in Miami, Florida. She has broad experience in both science and policy, also serving in NOAA's Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs in Washington, DC. Sunny is a graduate of NOAA's Leadership Competencies Development Program. She received a B.S. in Public Health in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill's School of Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Zoology from North Carolina State University.
