Yvonne Barkley, PhD

Cetacean Acoustic Researcher (Affiliate)

Dr. Barkley received her PhD in marine biology at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. She is a postdoctoral researcher working with the Cetacean Research Program (CIMAR/RCUH). She uses an interdisciplinary approach to study cetacean populations by developing new analytical tools for passive acoustic data and applying different quantitative methods to better understand patterns in cetacean acoustic behavior, distribution, and abundance.
