Fish use many habitats during their lifetimes, sometimes migrating from one habitat type to another and back again. We protect habitat like rivers with sea-going fish, wetlands and estuaries, bays and watersheds, coral reefs, and deep sea coral. We also restore these habitats so they can provide important areas for fish to eat and grow, helping improve fisheries and the ecosystems and communities that rely on them.

Infographic - "What is Habitat" - provides basic information on fresh water, estuary, coral reef and deep sea coral habitats.
