Northeast
- A Special Agent issued a $2,500 summary settlement penalty to the operator of a Montauk, NY small stern trawl vessel for failing to carry an observer when selected to carry an observer.
Southeast
- Officers deployed to Jacksonville, FL and later Columbia, SC in advance of Hurricane Dorian in the event they were needed for recovery efforts.
Alaska
- An Enforcement Officer conducted a four-day at sea patrol onboard the USCG Cutter John McCormick. The patrol began in Juneau and ended in Ketchikan. Ten vessels were contacted. Five vessels were boarded at sea. One federal fisheries violation was documented and a humpback whale strike investigation was completed.

An Enforcement Officer issued a written warning to the operator of a fishing vessel who self-reported setting longline gear inside the Sitka Pinnacles Marine Reserve. The gear was recovered soon after being set and no fish were retained.
