Michelle Mansker

Michelle Mansker is the deputy regional administrator for the Pacific Islands Regional Office and oversees the region’s internal operations. She has been a member of PIRO’s leadership team since 2015, serving as Directorate Division Chief and the Operations, Management, and Information division chief. She has a master’s degree in botany from the University of Hawaiʻi and has devoted more than 25 years to managing and protecting the Pacific Island’s natural resources. Prior to coming to NOAA, Michelle managed the largest natural resource program in the Department of Defense for the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaiʻi.
