Brittany Huntington, PhD

Ecosystem Sciences Division Manager (Affiliate)

Brittany is the Ecosystem Sciences Division Manager for the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Resources (CIMAR) in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. The Ecosystem Sciences Division leads the National Coral Reef Monitoring Program (NCRMP) to conduct long-term monitoring of corals, algae, invertebrates, fish, and oceanographic conditions at more than 50 U.S.-affiliated Pacific islands, atolls, and reefs. Brittany serves as a benthic coral ecologist and research diver during Pacific NCRMP field missions. Her research interests are centered in community ecology in a changing ocean: including coral demographics, coral restoration, and marine managed areas.
