Kate Choate, MSc
Research Biologist
Kate received her BA in Environmental Studies from Stonehill College in 2009 and completed her Master of Science in Marine Biology at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2014. Her research there focused on zooplankton phenology in New Bedford Harbor in response to sea surface temperature, analyzing 25 years worth of zooplankton samples in the process. In February 2020, she joined the NEFSC, where she assists both the passive acoustic and the turtle ecology research groups.
