Lindsey Transue, MS

Acoustician (Affiliate)

Lindsey has a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee and a MS in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. Her master’s thesis analyzed the Charleston Harbor soundscape, including snapping shrimp, sound-producing fish, bottlenose dolphins, and anthropogenic noise. She began working with the Passive Acoustics Branch in 2022 to conduct analysis of baleen whale acoustic ecology.
