How to Volunteer

• At the start of each cruise season, a call for volunteers is emailed to potential volunteers. Email Katherine Sowers if you would like to be added to the list.
• The cruise staffing notice includes the upcoming cruise schedule and details about the medical and security clearances required.
• Volunteers submit a questionnaire provided in the notice with their desired cruise dates selected.
• The chief scientist reviews the responses from potential volunteers and scientists and builds the cruise roster to meet the requirements of the mission.
• If you are selected you will receive an email confirmation and you can then proceed with your medical and security clearances.
